The non black leather jacket
A black leather jacket it a staple. A coloured leather jacket is the next staple (you can have more than 2). Jazz up your wardrobe with a coloured leather jacket, perfect for spring/summer. (It can get chilly on these socal hills at nighttime, you know) ; )
I opted for this patent white leather number from Mackage. But the choices are endless, really. yellow, blue, blush...red. One thing about wearing coloured leather, is to use it as a pop of colour. If you're shy at first, slowly introduce it in with neutrals. Blue denim, black graphic tee, yellow leather jacket, pumps. White denim, white tee, black pointy lace flats, cobalt blue leather jacket.
And of course, the top several outfits are not complete without lipstick, badass sunnies, and most importantly, 'you' swag. yea, i just made up a term. think it'll trend?
